7.00pm - Savour home-made canapés, relax and celebrate with Champagne and Kir Royales whilst our pianist tinkles the ivories in the Great Hall beside the huge log fire.
7.45pm - A truly decadent set Tasting Menu of five courses for tables of 6 or more. Our two Master Chefs of Great Britain, Hadleigh Barrett & Stuart Brown and their team will use the best of local Devon produce grown, reared and prepared by kindred spirits who reside close to Combe House.
Afterwards there will be dancing in the Great Hall to celebrate New Year 2010. We are really lucky to have engaged 'Catherine Sykes' and her sensational five piece band. With her mellow vocals, Catherine is considered one of the finest jazz talents in the UK - guaranteed to give the evening sophistication and swing the party into the New Year.
At midnight there will be plenty of Bubbles to celebrate and some New Year surprises to wish you a Happy 2010.

Open the broad oak door to be greeted by a towering pine tree, garlands of greenery and flamboyant fresh flowers in the Great Hall with its huge log fire. A warm welcome awaits.
When you’ve settled in, make your way down to the Georgian Kitchen to enjoy a true reflection of times gone by with a cosy country afternoon tea by lamp and candlelight. The kettle boiling on the iron range, biscuits from the cookie jar, cakes, mince pies hot from the oven and fresh scones with home-made Combe jams.
This evening, the Champagne flows! Relax, unwind and move into New Year party spirit as the pianist plays. Savour home-made canapés over a Champagne Tasting in the Hall hosted by Chris Piper, the South West’s leading wine merchant, and proprietor Ken Hunt before a sumptuous five-course Tasting Dinner complemented by coffee, chocolate truffles and petit fours in the candlelit Panel Room seated around tables of eight to ten guests, all staying and celebrating at Combe.

Downstairs for a splendid Devon country breakfast. A day at leisure. We have plenty of suggestions for some great places to visit and enjoy - take a bracing walk along the World Heritage coastline from Branscombe to Beer, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the seafront at the Regency town of Sidmouth, or explore the wide-open spaces of Dartmoor. Light lunches and afternoon cream teas are available on request when you return (not included in the tariff).
As our pianist plays, the Champagne and Kir Royales will be flowing and there will be a truly decadent New Year’s Eve five course feast with canapés. The Chefs will use the best of local Devon produce - seafood fresh from Brixham, poultry from Silverton, local Ruby Red Devon beef, pork from Smallicombe Farm, hand-made West Country farmhouse cheeses and vegetables from the kitchen garden.

Payment in full is required by 14 November 2009.
A deposit of £50 per person is required to secure your booking. Cheques made payable to Combe House Hotel Ltd are acceptable and we also accept all major credit cards (excluding Amex and Diners). The deposit is refundable as long as cancellation is made before 14 November 2009.
Cancellation after 14 November 2009 - we will do our best to resell on your behalf, however the full cost of the evening will be incurred if unsuccessful.
Tariff - the evening is inclusive of all food and entertainment as stated. No allowances or refunds can be made.
Special Dietary Needs are happily catered for. Please advise when booking.
VAT and Service is included. No service charge is included - we'd like to leave this to your discretion.
